Mr. Kennedy joined Meriturn Partners full-time in 2006 after working with Meriturn as a Summer Associate in 2005 and part-time throughout his second year at business school.
Prior to earning his MBA degree, Mr. Kennedy worked in the automotive industry for four years in both operating and engineering roles at Visteon Corporation. In his operating role, Mr. Kennedy co-led two production departments with $30 million of revenue through a restructuring and relocation effort by implementing lean manufacturing principles to drive out costs and improve productivity. As an engineer he was responsible for the design and launch of several new chassis products used by GM and Ford. Additionally, Mr. Kennedy focused on engineering execution, developing profitable relationships with suppliers, and working with other business units to improve product quality and margins.
Mr. Kennedy earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
