Lee C. Hansen, Partner lee@meriturn.com

Mr. Hansen has 20 years of finance (M&A and capital raising), strategy, and management experience. In 2001 he formed Meriturn Partners and provides leadership in all aspects of transaction sourcing, structuring, and ongoing portfolio company management, as well as leading administration of the Meriturn Fund. Mr. Hansen has been an active member of the following boards, Stonepath Group, Dunn Paper, Johnson Textiles, Valentine Paper, SSI, and Barnacle Seafood.

Prior to Meriturn, he was the President and COO of Stonepath Group, a public investment firm and was responsible for developing strategic plans, overseeing investment professionals, and managing day-to-day operations, including legal, finance, accounting, regulatory, and human resources. Mr. Hansen was brought in by the board to restructure and grow the company in 1999 and management raised $56 million in a public offering and undertook a successful restructuring to rationalize its portfolio of companies.

Prior to Stonepath, Mr. Hansen was an SVP of Strategy & Corporate Development in the Office of the Chairman at Bank of America, where he managed key strategic projects, restructuring activities, and M&A transactions. Mr. Hansen was involved in a number of acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring activities for the corporation, including Robertson Stephens, Asia Retail (Taiwan, Singapore, and India), Midwest Retail, RS Investment Management, BA Commercial Fleet, D.E. Shaw, and Eastbourne Capital Management. Prior to his post in the Office of the Chairman, he was a founding member and VP of the bank's International Capital Raising Group, where he originated, structured, and executed more than $3 billion of public and private financings for foreign companies and governments. In addition, Mr. Hansen closed high yield, project financings, and leasing transactions while he was in the Investment Banking area of Bank of America.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Hansen was a Financial Analyst with Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in the Middle-Market Corporate Finance and Real Estate Groups, where he executed numerous financings, credit reviews, and loan restructurings.

Mr. Hansen earned an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a BS degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
