Mr. Hansen has 25 years of general management and finance experience. In 2001 he founded Meriturn.
Prior to Meriturn, he was the President & CFO of Net Value Holdings, a public investment firm, and was responsible for strategic planning, overseeing investments, and managing day-to-day operations, including legal, finance, accounting, regulatory, and human resources. Mr. Hansen grew Net Value to over $1 billion market cap.
Prior to Net Value, Mr. Hansen was in the Office of the Chairman at Bank of America as an SVP of Strategy & Corporate Development, where he managed strategic projects, profit enhancement, restructuring activities, and M&A transactions for the holding company. Prior, Mr. Hansen was in the Investment Banking Group at BofA: he was a founding member and VP of the International Capital Group and executed over $3 billion of international financings and was an Associate in the High Yield and Leasing Groups.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Hansen was an Analyst with Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank U.S.) in the Middle-Market and Real Estate Groups.
Mr. Hansen earned an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University and a BS degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University. Mr. Hansen sits on numerous boards and has been awarded the Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation from the TMA.
