SAN FRANCISCO, CA. – Meriturn Partners announced the sale of Sustainable Solutions, Inc. and its sister company SSI Technologies, Inc. (SSI) based in Wagoner, OK to TIG Ventures. Simultaneously, Sustain, LLC (Sustain) of Portland, OR, invested in the transaction. Meriturn invested in the company in November 2006 as part of a reorganization.

SSI initially entered into an agreement with Strateline Industries, LLC (Strateline) of Rogers, AK to purchase SSI. During the transaction, Sustain, a strategic partner to SSI, partnered with TIG Ventures to complete the acquisition. The transaction was structured as an equity purchase and shareholders will benefit from the proceeds of the sale and from royalties based upon SSI’s continuing growth and success.

Meriturn’s Partner and Chairman of SSI, Lee Hansen commented: “The transaction will allow SSI to continue to grow its manufacturing base in Wagoner, OK while enabling its sister company, Circle, LLC, to license its suite of technology to create a global platform of sustainability. All parties will benefit from the new partnership and capital of Sustain”.
